In addition to Catholic retreats, we regularly host groups from other religious traditions as well as gatherings of 12 step members, educational organizations, and healing ministries. Typically, retreats are held on weekends, but we can accommodate longer events.
We often receive requests from individuals to make private retreats. We are happy to make our guest facilities available to individuals when not in use for group gatherings.
We strongly suggest that you contact us well in advance to request a date. We have groups that regularly schedule a year or even two years in advance.
St. Rita Retreat Center offers simple, nutritious, balanced meals during group retreats or other events at our facility. We strive to provide menus with options that will meet the preferences of both those who eat meat and vegetarians. We accommodate those who are gluten-free and/or lactose intolerant as best as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that every item at a meal will be made with ingredients that are gluten or dairy free. Generally, there are enough choices at a meal to avoid those ingredients. We will be happy to advise your group in advance of the menus planned for your retreat.
Private retreatants prepare their own meals in a small kitchenette area adjacent to the conference room. There is an under-counter refrigerator and freezer, two burner stove-top, microwave oven, and sink. St. Rita’s also provides a limited amount of cookware and eating utensils while retreatants provide their own food.
